Item Description
The Huanzala Mine of Peru has arguably produced the world's finest pyrites and this specimen is an very fine example from the Art Soregaroli Collection. Stunning, mirror-bright, brass-yellow, well-striated, pyritohedrons to 3.7 cm comprise this sculptural mounded specimen. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only one small spot of corner wear. Striking high quality, 360-degree pyrite from this famed locale. Specimens of this quality came out in the 1970s and 80s. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
