Item Description

These specimens are stunning in person, and this piece is one of the better specimens of this material that we've had to offer in the auction. Groups of foliated, semi-"rose" esque groups of Pyrrhotite have been replaced by shimmering bright metallic golden Pyrite with associated Pyrite crystals, black Sphalerite and Quartz. Great quality all around, and certainly an above average display specimen of these well-known but hard to find pieces. The largest "rose" measures 1.8 cm.
