Sparkly bronzy/brassy pyrite has pseudomorphed a sculptural intergrown small cabinet cluster of classic form pyrrhotite crystals from the famous and historic Herja Mine. The sharply terminated tapered pseudos, to 2.7 cm, have the typical pseudo-hexagonal form accented with pronounced layering. The bit of quartz at the base adds contrast. This is an exceptional and aesthetic example of this uncommon pseudomorph combination from the Wouter van Tichelen Collection.
