Pyrite pseudos after pyrrhotite crystals are very uncommon from the historic mines at Trepca. This cute and aesthetic minature has many highlights: the brassy, splendent, pyrite pyritohedrons have totally replaced the pyrrhotite crystals, especially the prominent sharp, hexgonal pyrrhotite; the lustrous, sphalerite twin is a super accessory; and the multitude of tiny calcite crystals add character. A very nifty and rare combination Trepca pseudo.
