Pyrite ps. After Marcasite (John Medici Coll.)

Item Description

An outstanding, stellate cluster of lustrous, brassy, pseudomorphs of pyrite after sharp, spearpoint, marcasite crystals from Ohio. The nubby arms are facinating and appear to have grown as stalactites. A couple of the arms appear to be contacted and an attachment point is out of sight. This is really good and very uncommon material for the locale. Ex John Medici Collection (self-collected), a noted Ohio field collector.
