Item Description

Tarnished, iridescent, pyrite crystals have pseudomorphed a terminated anhydrite blade on this Sweetwater Mine rarity. The cluster of metallic-gray, galena cuboctahedrons along one edge are a super accent. The broken base reveals the pseudo is hollow. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection. This very rare and small Viburnum Trend psuedo find of 1992 is referenced in the 1993 Mineralogica Record, V. 24, # 1, p. 48. A must for the species or locality collector. Value?
