Item Description

A hard to find Pyrite specimen from the south of Bolivia. This piece is a two-sided display specimen with a full coverage of sharp, well-formed, metallic, golden modified Pyritohera of Pyrite on one side, and the other side has scattered Pyrite crystals which are sitting on small bladed reddish-brown Siderite "rosettes". The largest Pyrite measures 1.1 cm across, and the majority of the crystals are damage free. The piece displays well from either side, and would make a great addition to any Bolivian suite. Good quality compared to many Bolivian Pyrites on the market, and probably an older specimen as I have not seen anything from this area on the market for a long time.
