Pyrite on Quartz with Dolomite (ex Gary Weaver Collection)

Item Description

The Black Cloud mine is well known for its sulfide specimens, and this piece is a nice example of said material featuring several bright, sharp, lustrous, metallic, soft golden colored pyritohedral crystals of Pyrite measuring up to 5 mm sitting atop grey prismatic Quartz crystals with minor associated cream colored "balls" of Dolomite on matrix. Very little damage, and simply a good example of this now hard to find material that dates back several decades at this point. From the collection of Gary Weaver of Prescott, Arizona (1944-2019).
