Item Description

A striking and uncommon combination specimen from the Anselmo Mine at Butte. Glassy, tapered, dogtooth quartz points completely envelope the sculptural knob. One side is dramatically accented with classic Butte, brassy, pyrite pyritohedrons. The matrix is quartz, pyrite and a few sulfides. Complete all-around, with only minimal periphery wear at the base. Excellent material from this famed district from the Harold Urish Collection.
