Item Description

A beautiful octahedral Pyrite crystal (with small cubic modifications) perched on Quartz matrix from the famous West Colusa Mine in Butte. The Pyrite crystal measures 1.8 cm, and has bright golden color and lovely, smooth metallic faces. Despite a bit of damage, it's still a very good specimen of this extremely hard to find material. A great piece for any Butte collector, or a sulfide collector.
