Item Description
A fine quality specimen from the prolific Stari Trg Mine features tiny metallic golden crystals of Pyrite, which are coating fine quality, well-formed pseudo-hexagonal crystals of Pyrrhotite with minor translucent, white/colorless vitreous crystals of Calcite with a handful of Quartz crystals. The piece is in great condition on the front, but it is contacted on the back where it was removed from the pocket wall. These are some of the best examples of Pyrrhotite in the world, and they don't get enough attention for their crystal form, often seen in fine display piece. They deserve more attention from collectors for their quality, and if you're a fan of sulfides, this is a very worthwhile specimen to add to your collection.
