Pyrite on Fluorite (fluorescent) rare combo

Splendent, brassy rosettes of intergrown octahedral pyrite crystals are aesthetically and richly scattered on the color-zoned, intensely stepped-growth, octahedral, purple fluorite matrix on this very fine and rare combination specimen from recent finds at the Fengjiashan Mine, China. This is an unusual Chinese pyrite form, and is really interesting. This piece may be UNIQUE, as every other piece we obtained in the lot has quartz as the matrix. Rich purple fluorescence.
