Item Description
A classic and showy combination plate from the famous Leonard Mine at Butte. Lustrous, mirror-bright, striated, brass-yellow, pyrite pyritohedrons are attractively scattered amongst lustrous, striated, jet-black, enargite crystals. The matrix also includes sooty, covellite plates and tiny quartz points. Fine older material from this noted locale. Ex Harold Urish Collection and obtained in a trade with Duane Johnson at the 1991 Tucson Show.
