Pyrite on Dolomite (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Beautiful, splendent crystals of sharp, striated, bright, golden color pyritohedral crystals of Pyrite sitting on cream colored Dolomite from one of the most classic of Peruvian localities. Despite the fact that the crystals were not the easiest to photograph, several of them are undamaged and beautiful in person. The reverse side of the specimen shows Rich Kosnar's distinctive hand-painted collection number. A lovely hand-sized display specimen of this well known material.
