Item Description

A rare and showy mounded combination from this famous fluorite district. Pyrite is rare from any Hardin County locality. Sparkly, sharp, pyrite crystals are richly and preferentially set on the edges of a dense intergrown cluster of cream-colored baryte spearpoints. The barytes rest on fluorescent purple fluorite. Pyrite on baryte is also rare from Hardin County. In fine shape, overall, with only two broken baryte blades noted in the interior of this excellent and rare combination.
