Item Description
This is one of the very few pieces of this material that I've ever seen from this locality, and certainly an unusual rarity for anybody who collects Colorado minerals. These strange pieces of Pyrite in Alunite are bizarre. This piece was collected by Benjy Kuehling in September of 2011, and comes from Robert Stoufer. It features several metallic, golden octahedra of Pyrite which are nestled in pinkish Alunite matrix. Different to be sure, don't miss out.
