Item Description
The famous Huanzala Mine is renowned as one the world's great pyrite localties and this is an outstanding and aesthetic small cabinet from noted Arizona field collector and collector, Tony Potucek. Stunning, sharp, intergrown, mirror-bright, brass-yellow octahedrons have very nifty modified corners. The octos reach 3.2 cm on this piece (doubly terminated). The primary display face is nearly pristine, with only gentle bruising to the two large octo tips and a bit of periphery wear/contacting. This exceptional pyrite has multiple display possibities, where periphery wear and contacting are certainly minimized.
