Item Description
French Creek pyrites are a U.S. classic and are seldom available in this quality. Splendent, brassy, octahedrons are aesthetically perched on the sphalerite crystal matrix on this outstanding, old-time thumbnail. The large octo looks just like the Matterhorn! A very fine, 360-degree specimen, with only a trivial bit of edge wear, lower on the large octahedron. Not hugely valuable, but a rare little treasure and worth finding a home for! Ex W.J.
