An exceptional and aesthetic cluster of sharp pyrite octahedrons from this less well-known Peru mine. The sharp octos have mirror-bright, brass-yellow luster and color. The striking large doubly terminated octo is 4.3 x 3.3 x 3.2 cm and the modified corners add pizzazz. The large octo is nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. Uncommon and rare style pyrite from the Ken Roberts Collection. These pyrites rank as some of the best from anywhere in the world. This elegant piece has multiple display views.
