Item Description
An impressive, sculptural and aesthetic crystallized pyrite from a NEW FIND at the famous Huaron mines of Peru. Intergrown clusters of striking, sharp, mirror-bright, brassy pyrite cubes with unusual crystal habit form this most artistic piece. All of the larger, crystals, to 2.1 cm, have unusual rounded edges accented with beautifully striated faces. The dramatic 1.3 cm cube at top center has beginning octahedral faces, adding much pizzazz. The overall architecture of this bright, high quality specimen is very fine. The major crystals are essentially pristine, with only one gentle bruise to the crystal in the upper left hand corner noted. Fairly valued at $500.
