Item Description
A classic Huaron Pyrite specimen featuring excellent, sharp, well-formed, bright, metallic, well-formed, smooth octahedral crystals measuring up to 3.5 cm across, which are associated with small sparkling black Sphalerite crystal clusters all over. There is a contact near the center of the piece, so it's not pristine, but it's still very showy and the overall quality of the Pyrites is excellent. I would like to point out that while the Pyrite crystals are largely octahedral in habit, I can see some small modifying pyritohedral faces in a few spots. This piece had a retail price of $2,000 in our inventory.
