Item Description
A beautiful, three-dimensional crystal group of sharp, highly lustrous, striated, well-formed, soft metallic golden color crystals of Pyrite from one of the most classic of Peruvian localities. If you look closely, you can see the corners of the crystals might appears to be damaged, but they're actually completely crystallized with tiny, but fine quality stepped faces that almost resemble an M. C. Escher image. The piece has such eye-catching form with sculptural appeal and excellent "depth" of crystals The crystals are in good shape, though there are some contacts, but it's forgivable since you never see 100% pristine examples of this material. A lovely display specimen of this well known material. The largest individual Pyrite crystal measures 2.3 cm on edge. Priced at $950 in the inventory.
