Item Description
A rarely seen specimen of radial Pyrite aggregates free of matrix from the Meggen Mine. The "balls" have wonderful glowing golden metallic luster and the piece is in very good shape on the display side. I've never seen one of these before, and if you collect worldwide sulfides or German minerals, this is a great piece to fill a spot in your collection. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#8752). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
