Item Description

A classic and very eye-catching Pryite specimen from the Huancavelica Department in Peru. This attractive small cabinet features many metallic, golden pyritohedral crystals of Pyrite with wonderfully sharp faces, good luster and classic striated faces. The largest crystal measures 2.1 cm across, and the largest crystals are aesthetically sitting at the "top" of the specimen to create a wonderful effect. A worthwhile specimen of this classic material from the collection of John Arnaud.
