Pyrite (ex Allen Heyl Collection)

Item Description

From the collection of Colorado geologist Allen Heyl, for whom the species Aheylite was named, this Pyrite is from the lesser known locality at Pleasant Ridge, Indiana. It features excellent quality, sharp, cuboctahedral crystals with a shimmering golden color, and complete all around on the display side. The largest crystal measures up to 1.2 cm.
