Item Description

This remote iron mine, above the Arctic Circle, closed in 2002 and specimens are becoming more dificult to obtain. This showy and excellent combination features brilliant, brassy pyritohedrons dominated by a large dolomite rhomb festooned on one face with sparkly marcasite microcrystals. The rhomb is 4.5 cm on the diagonal. Choice combination material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
