Item Description
Striking, large, highly lustrous, well-striated, brassy pyrite cubes with bulging faces on masssive pyrite matrix from the long extinct Park City District of Utah. The large crystal is 4.4 cm across. Periphery wear is noted, but the crystals in the interior are in excellent shape. These are large pyrites for the locale. Mineral specimens, in general, are uncommon from this district. Showy and highly representative pyrite. Ex. Bob Trimingham Collection and obtained in 1961. 1766 grams or 3.9 pounds.
