An AMAZING pyrite concretion from a NEW Chinese find. This striking, slightly flattened ball of parallel bands of sparkly pyrite microcrystals on shale looks like a handwoven basket or clay pot inset with pieces of precious metal. The concentration of pyrite on the top and bottom have striking look. A unique and very showy specimen! Our Chinese source was able to come up with one more flat of this highly desirable and very unusual material. This is one of the very best ones we have received.
