Item Description

Incredibly interesting Pyrite concretions from Chinese finds about 10 years ago. Tiny, sparkling, sharp, modified, metallic Pyrite crystals have formed in amazingly concentric "rings" or "bands" on a "sphere" of shale. The specimen resembles some kind of strange planet, and almost has an organic look to it. They are some of the most unique specimens that I have seen from any locality. China never fails when it comes to producing exciting, unusual and unique material. A few mostly out-of-sight contacts are certainly only modest detractions to this striking, surreal specimen.
