Pyrite Concretion

These fairly a find a few years ago, here we have one of the incredibly interesting Pyrite concretions, which are some of the most unique specimens that I have seen from any locality. The small, sparkling, sharp, modified, metallic Pyrite crystals have formed in amazingly concentric "rings" or "bands" on a "sphere" of shale. The specimen resembles some kind of strange planet, and almost has an organic look to it. A very cool "floater" specimen and certainly unusual.
