Item Description
Amazingly concentric "rings" or "bands" of pyrite crystals on this exotic, flattened triangular shale concretion from recent Chinese finds a decade ago. Most specimens of this type are ball or oval shaped, not triangular and flattened. The pristine specimen resembles a decorated basket. These fairly new and incredibly interesting Pyrite concretions are some of the most unique specimens that I have seen from any locality. A very cool "floater" specimen and certainly unusual.
