Item Description

Crystallized pyrite is rare from the well-known open pit Chino Copper Mine. This exceptional thumbnail consists of a textbook sharp pyritohedron aesthetically set atop a section of another pyrite crystal. Gray chalcocite, enhanced by subtle purple iridescence coats both crystals and adds pizzazz. Valued by the former dealer at $350. A must for the species or locality collector. Rare, high quality pyrite.
