An old-time, classic and fine cluster of mirror-bright, brass-yellow, pyritohedrons of Pyrite from the Butte District of Montana. The large pyritohedron measures 2.3 cm and dominates this excellent miniature specimen Very good condition, with only a little bit of edge wear. Butte Pyrites are world famous for the quality and superior crystallization. Valued at $600. From the worldwide collection of noted Idaho collector Geary Murdock.
