Item Description

A show, fine quality and honestly gorgeous full cabinet sized display specimen of the classic Pyrites from the Quiruvilca Mine featuring dozens of octahedral crystals with slight modifications along the edges, and that classic soft golden metallic hue. The faces are rather sharp, with about average luster, and they look beautiful up close. The overall aesthetics and elegant form of the piece make it a fantastic Pyrite specimen from this classic Peruvian locality. It displays very well, and truly stands out among countless other more "boring" Pyrites I have seen from this mine. The largest crystal measures 1.2 cm across.
