Item Description
Glamorous, iridescent, brass-yellow, diploidal pyrite crystals (24 faces) line both sides of the striking deep cleft in shale matrix on this impressive specimen from this well-known Ohio limestone quarry. The crystals reach 1.3 cm and the bit of brusing is certainly only a modest detraction to this attractive piece. Two faces have been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
