Item Description

Dramatic and sculptural large specimen of intergrown pyritohedrons from the famous Huanzala Mine. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, this very fine piece is dominated by the impressive large 7.1 x 7.1 x 6.6 crystal. The prisms have bright metallic brassy lustre accented with sharp stepped-growth faces. Formerly in the John Cianciulli Collection. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 1989.
