Item Description

The Huanzala Mine is clearly one of the world's great pyrite specimen mines, for both quality and sheer volume. Two impressive intergrown cubes rest upon smaller crystals on this very fine and aesthetic small cabinet. Dramatic striated faces highlight the mirror-bright, brass-yellow crystals. The striking, dominating large cube is 3.6 x 3.1 x 2.8 cm and the smaller cube is 2.7 x 2.6 x 2.0 cm. The two large cubes are pristine and the noted periphery wear to smaller crystals is certainly acceptable and is only a minimal detraction to this most sculptural and excellent specimen. A classic Huanzala cubic pyrite. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $145, for free. Valued at $1000.
