Item Description

Mirror-bright, striated, brassy pyritohedrons are aesthetically enclosed in lustrous, glassy, calcite crystals on this excellent and uncommon combination from this famed locale. The nifty, 2.5 cm, doubly terminated calcite on the left side really enhances the piece and is nearly pristine, with only gentle bruising. Calcite crystals of this form and quality are rare from the Huanzala Mine. Modest pink fluorescence. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
