Item Description

A dramatic and rare large Pyrite crystal from the Merelani Hills, renowned for the world's finest Tanzanites and outstanding Diopside and Grossular Garnet specimens. The LARGE, very sharp, complex crystal has mirror-bright, splendent, brassy luster. Mostly complete with only a few abrasions here and there, but it's actually in fine condition considering its size and the rough nature of mining here. Weighs 1,720 grams, or 3.8 pounds.
