Well-crystallized pyrite specimens are uncommon from the famous mines of Chihuahua, Mexico, even from the renowned Santa Eulalia and Naica districts. This impressive, two-sided, LARGE CABINET, specimen is festooned on both sides with highly lustrous, brassy, textbook, pyrite pyritohedrons to 1.0 cm on massive pyrite matrix. Large, highly representative and rare material, probably from either Santa Eulalia or Naica. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. Hefty at 10.6 pounds or 4.8 kilos.
