A floater pyrite specimen from the famous Magma Mine is accompanied by a classic, wood-cut, pyritohedron crystal model from the Carlton Davis Collection. The 2.5 cm, mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyrite crystal is a classic pyritohedron and is pristine. The old-time, seldom-seen, lightweight, precision-cut, wooden crystal model reflects the textbook geometry of octahedral crystals. Moderately common, many years ago, such combination sets are rarely available today.
