Item Description
An uncommon Turkish pyrite specimen is accompanied by a classic, wood-cut, pyritohedron crystal model from the Carlton Davis Collection. The 2.9 cm, mirror-bright, brass-yellow pyrite crystal is a classic octahedron, complete all-around, a nearly pristine floater, with only minor contacting on the basal termination. The old-time, seldom-seen, lightweight, precision-cut, wooden crystal model reflects the textbook geometry of octahedral crystals. Moderately common, many years ago, such combination sets are rarely available today.
