Splendent, stepped-growth, pyrite pyritohedrons share the plate with sprays of glassy quartz points on this showy and excellent old-time piece from the famous mines at Butte. A bit of periphery wear and only a couple of broken quartz crystals are noted, but are modest detractions. Classic combination material from the old East Coast collection of Clifford Joseph and comes with a cloth label on the back.
