Pyrite and Quartz (excellent - classic combo)

A stunning, highly sculptural, large three-sided example of the classic pyrite and quartz combinations from the famous Alimon Mine at Huaron in Peru. Brilliant, brass-yellow, striated pyrite cubes are festooned with sprays of typical for the local, tapered, glassy, quartz points. The large cube is 1.6 x 1.6 cm and impressive large quartz point is 1.8 cm. Quartz sprays neary cover one face. The balance and aesthetics are super nice. The piece looks to be essentially pristine, except for the few contact points. Specimens of this very fine quality came out in the mid-1980s. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
