An stunning, two-sided example of the classic pyrite and quartz combinations from the famous Alimon Mine at Huaron in Peru. One side of the striking, mounded piece features brilliant, brass-yellow pyrite cubes surrounded by a halo of water-clear quartz points. The other side is a beautiful hedgehog of slender quartz points to 2.5 cm. The balance and aesthetics are excellent and there are very few broken quartz crystals, for such dense coverage. The pyrites are pristine, except for out-of-sight periphery wear at the base. Piece of this fine quality came out in the mid-1980s. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
