Item Description
From a very limited find in 2010, I have only seen a few of these specimens from this area in far southern Bolivia. The piece features several splendent, sparkling, bright golden color pyritohedral crystals of Pyrite with contrasting reddish-silver colored "Specularite" Hematite on matrix. The largest Pyrite is about 4 mm across, but this is really uncommon material from Bolivia, and would make a stellar addition to a comprehensive Bolivian suite.
