Superb, sharp clusters of Pyrite cubes on matrix. The 2 mm Pyrite cubes are extremely well-formed and have a rich, textured metallic luster. The Pyrites are found in spherical clusters that range up to 1 cm across. The clusters are either individual or in groups, making almost a 'Pyrite carpet', creating nice balance and visual interest. RARE for this locale... Pyrite often does not survive alteration in many environements. Nestled on the Pyrites is a 2 cm white Calcite scalenohedron that has a strong orange-red fluorescence. The aesthetics are outstanding. Better in person.
