The well-known Pyrites from Navajun are signature specimens for the species. Although they are simple cubes, they are still highly attractive, and certainly among the finest crystallized representations of the species. This piece features a razor-sharp, well-formed, splendent, soft golden metallic cube of Pyrite measuring 1.8 cm edge aesthetically flaring off matrix. No major damage, just a few trivial "rubs". It's hard to find such showy three-dimensional groups like this, as most crystals from this locality are loose singles that fell out of the matrix.
