Item Description

A striking and aesthetic pyrite specimen from the famous Shangbao Mine. Two, large, splendent, brass-yellow, pyrite monoliths dramatically rest atop a showy jumble of smaller crystals. The large cube is 4.0 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm. The two large pyrite cubes are in good shape: the small one is pristine; the larger one has a contact on the top, but no damage, per se and the trivial edgewear is certainly not much of a detraction, as you can see. These pyrites compare favorably with the world-class Huanzala, Peru pyrites in quality and form. MUCH MORE impressive in person.
