Item Description
An oddball Pyrite specimen that was personally acquired by Brian Kosnar in Bolivia in 2000. No specific mine was given, and the only information for locality was that it was found in the Potosi Department. Sharp, very lustrous, metallic, modified crystals of Pyrite sit on a layer of Actinolite (?) on matrix. The largest Pyrite measures 6 mm across. Really strange material, unlike anything else I've seen from Bolivia.
